• Delivery Policy
  Free up to the first 100 miles. Beyond 100 miles, contact us for the cost and we’ll get your situation sorted out!
• Return Policy
  You may return the vehicle to Carbiz, and seek terminate a purchase contract, for any reason, within five (5) calendar days of purchase, provided you strictly adhere to all terms in the Carbiz Return Policy set forth herein:

  Vehicle Condition

  • The condition of the vehicle is the same as when you purchased the vehicle, except for ordinary wear and tear, and the vehicle has not been in a collision, damaged, or seized;
  • The vehicle has not been operated for more than 200 miles of the mileage listed in the contract;
  • No party has been granted, or obtained, an interest in or lien on the vehicle other than as shown on the contract from Carbiz;

  Written Notice Prior to Return

  • You advise Carbiz in writing of your desire to return the vehicle prior to 5:00 p.m. (prevailing eastern time) on or before the 5th calendar day after the date of purchase (the “Written Notice”). Phone calls will not be accepted to initiate a return;

  Location to Return Vehicle

  • If you purchased the vehicle in-person at the Carbiz dealership located at 6001 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore, MD 21215 (the “Dealership”), then you are required to return the vehicle to the Dealership in order for Carbiz to accept the return, and all purchasers shown on the agreement shall be present at the return. The return must be within two (2) business days following the Written Notice. In the event there is more than one purchaser, then Carbiz shall only accept the return if all purchasers are present at the Dealership during the return of the vehicle;
  • If you purchased the vehicle utilizing the Carbiz delivery/pick- up service, then you shall make the vehicle available for inspection pick-up by the Carbiz delivery/pick-up service at a prearranged time within one (1) business day following the date of the Written Notice;

  Trade-ins:

  • If you traded a vehicle in to Carbiz as part of your transaction, then at the sole discretion of Carbiz based on the circumstances, your trade-in will either be returned to you, or you will be paid the agreed upon amount as listed on the agreement;
  • If you owed money to a lender with respect to your trade-in vehicle at the time you purchased a vehicle from Carbiz, you will still owe the same amount to such lender as if the transaction with Carbiz never occurred. Any and all fees and costs associated with your vehicle being traded-in at Carbiz shall be yours sole responsibility, and Carbiz shall have no obligations or liability whatsoever for such charges you incurred;

  Refunds and Contract Termination:

  • If you return the vehicle, Carbiz will refund any money paid to Carbiz as shown on the contract, but Carbiz will not refund any costs or charges not reflected on the contract;
  • All purchasers must sign the Carbiz return policy documents to complete a return;
  • All refunds, with the exception of cash or wire transfer, require 10-business day to process;
  • Contracts will be terminated or rescinded only after all Carbiz return and refund documents are signed by the purchasers and provided to Carbiz; and
  • If any portion of the purchase price for the vehicle was paid by ACH, then you must provide evidence that the ACH payment cleared before Carbiz will refund the amount paid by you and/or return your trade-in, or you must wait fifteen (15) business days after the date of purchase.

  Value+ Details:

  • Value+ cars are actually Carbiz cars, too, but unlike other Carbiz vehicles, Value+ vehicles are typically vehicles that are 6 or more model years old and have greater than 80,000 miles. In the case of older used cars, our customers have told us that minor cosmetic imperfections are acceptable if it means paying less, so our Value+ cars may have minor dings, paint imperfections, or other cosmetic flaws that you won’t find on other Carbiz cars. However, Value+ cars still go through the same rigorous inspection process as all Carbiz cars. To keep the costs low for our customers, Value+ cars do not qualify for free returns or delivery. Value+ cars include a 30 day/1,000 mile powertrain warranty. Extended service contracts are still available for varying terms. Ask your experience specialist for details.
